Samsung’s Symbian devices always were a bit of oddballs – while extremely interesting, they never really made it out into the open market (similar to their PalmOS devices many moons ago).
Reuters now reports the following:

Samsung has not introduced new Symbian phones this year and YH Lee said even though the company was ready to introduce further Symbian models if consumers demand them, it had none planned.
“We are not seeing visible demand for Symbian,” she said.

Even though it is not entirely fair to blame this on Symbian alone (anyone remember MWC 2009? I know, I am repeating myself), it definitely is not a good sign…
