Qt itself is a great platform – unfortunately, some aspects such as its Mobility API is all but horrible.
An issue has now been discovered in versionb 1.0.0 of the API’s:
As of now, all developers using the Nokia Qt SDK beta to create Symbian applications that make use of the 1.0.0 Mobility APIs must
1) Move from using the beta version to the 1.0 version of the Nokia Qt SDK, and
2) Repackage Symbian apps created with the Nokia Qt SDK beta with the newest available Qt libraries; to ensure the mobility 1.0.1 APIs are included.
Unfortunately, the fix clears firer with fire:version 1.0.1 is said to have introduced multiple non-working libraries along with a variety of other bugs.
So – if you are into Qt Mobility (I’d prefer platform native code anytime), hit the URL below:

Hi Miksuh,
thank you so much for talking back!
The situation is: I follow Forum Nokia and also see what causes people problems. And, for me, Qt Mobility has been permanently on my radar as a trouble source.
If it works well for you, there is no need to stop using it…
With best regards
