Even though I am pretty happy with my (hand-selected) Nokia N97 mini, quite a few readers have recently complained about various firmware eekers. Nokia has promised a large patch for some time – and has now released a little “hotfix”.

According to symbian-freak, the new firmware brings the following changes:

Latest software release for Nokia N97 is 21.0.045 *
Improved call reliability
Smoother touch screen scrolling
Browser improvements
Improved Music player
Improved image and video stability

As these devices have UDP, you should not expect to loose any data – but making a backup always is better than looking stupid after data loss…
