0a Sprint could get the Omnia HDEven though Samsung’s Omnia HD (aka i8910) is a GSM device, the following quote from Reuters left me slightly confused:

Sprint Nextel (S.N) will sell phones from Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) featuring advanced AM-OLED display technology that provides longer battery life and enhanced video and photo images, company executives said.

A spokesman for the No. 3 U.S. mobile service provider said Sprint would start selling an AM-OLED device in the fourth quarter. …

Even though Samsung has quite a few OLED devices on the market, I am not aware that the featurephones (think Samsung JET or B8300) provide enhanced video. So far, their only “Video” device is the Omnia HD – although we could also be looking at one of the new Windows Mobile devices here…
