Nokia’s N96 never managed to break out of the shadow of its (truly excellent) successor N95 8GB. Now that the N97 is on its way, manufacturers are hell-bent on getting rid of their remaining stock. Thus, let’s torture the critter…can it stack up in the end?
My N96 was a prize I won at last year’s Symbian Smartphone show – it arrived in a little bag:

Fortunately, the device itself dropped in a stock box with the traditional sleeve:

The back of the actual box featured Tetris prominently:

A wall wart (without international nibs), a data and a video cable can be found below:

Nokia has included tons of documents, including Tetris and Ovi coupons:

In the end, the Nokia N96’s accessory package is mostly ok. The lack of international nibs was annoying due to the high price of the box…but other than that, it’s fine.
