Nokia’s XPressMusic 5800 has made headlines due to issues with US 3G – in fact, the roll-out of the device was halted shortly after the first units were dispatched

According to The Nokia Blog, the problems are now solved:

…Nokia believes it has fixed the problem with a new firmware update, which will be applied to the existing stock, and will also be pushed to the few units they did sell soon.

I wasn’t able to confirm exactly when these fixed units would be back on the shelves, so you may want to give it a day or 2 before bombarding the flagship stores again. If you purchased the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic NAM through another retailer, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for new updates.
