The folks at the official N-Gage blog have just posted their game sales stats for week 8/2009 – the stats are below:

  1. Tetris
  2. World Series of Poker® Pro Challenge
  3. Hooked On: Creatures of the Deep
  4. Asphalt 4: Elite Racing
  5. Resident Evil: Degeneration

When looking further at the figures, we see that three of the five top games are not targeted at “pro gamers”, but rather at folks who are into casual gaming.

As already stated in the past: mobile games for pro gamers do not pay as well as low-effort casual games. This has (unfortunately) become common knowledge in the industry (look at Astraware)…
