Hutchison and Vodafone have recently ganged up in Australia – while carriers ganging up is nothing new, this particular acquisition was interesting because of the 3LikeHome service which allows customers to use their handsets at the same price in all of Hutchson’s networks.
I am happy to report that there will be no changes whatsoever. Hutchson 3G customers from all over the world can still use their mobiles on the joint network in Australia without any extra cost according to Tanya Bowes, press head of the joint company.
