The folks at Nokia Press’s have set a new record in responding to questions – what usually takes up to a half a year (and counting), can sometimes be accomplished in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, we are looking at bad news here – the recently-released black and red versions of the E71 will have the same crappy keyboard found on the original E71 I reviewed!

The full statement is as follows:

The keyboard is the same as the previous E71.

I personally consider this a catastrophy, as the super-cheap E63 has a significantly better keyboard. Its rubbery surface makes typing much easier – more on that can be found in our Nokia E63 review or in the picture below:
