From the moment that the N85 was released, many of my colleagues considered it a huge threat to the – um, lets say it like this – unreliable and overpriced N96.
The latest issue of the UK-based (and very reputable) Mobile Magazine reviewed the N85 and considered it one of the most underrated phones of this year; with most of the interview partners stating that it endangers both the N95 8GB (due to better looks) and the N96 (it just lacks the internal memory).
I have to openly admit that I had my fair share of eeklets with the N85’s physical design, but nevertheless consider it a good phone for a decent price. The reason why it is not seen enough on the streets is that carriers and Nokia alike don’t push it too hard as to keep the influx of N96 buyers steadily depleting stock of this almost-obsolete handset…
What do you think?

Has N85 for nearly 3 months and it’s the best mobile I’ve yet owned. Camera is great, storage not a problem – even the over-the-air firmware upgrade ran flawlessly.
Hi,
I have to agree.
A friend of mine is in retail, and was full of praise about the box…
All the best
