I personally predict that these fakes will become a huge problem for Nokia and Android manufacturers alike in the future. As operating systems become a commodity, cheap rip-off manufacturers who save money by not providing customer support and/or government certifications will become more and more appealing to customers. The reasoning behind these decisions would be that a 100$ phone is easily replaceable – while the failure of an XPERIA X1 is highly annoying, the death of a 100$ handset would leave me cold…
