According to Yonhap News, Samsung sold 10 million devices containing 5 or 8 MP cameras this year. No information was given on which models were affected.

While quite a few Samsung S60 devices have qualifying cameras, I personally think that their impact is rather low. The reason: both the Omnia and the i480 (Tocco, a dumbphone) have 5MP cameras.

As both of these devices have seen heavy advertising all over the world due to the touchscreen craze caused by the iPhone, I fear that this (highly interesting) announcement is completely irrelevant for people wanting to evaluate the market share of Samsung’s S60 offerings…
