Nokia has gobbled up yet another company. This time, the victim is OZ Communications, a Canadian company specialized on IM and email applications for end customers.

Their applications are used by a variety of device manufacturers and carriers – for example, the Sprint Centro shipped with an IM client from the company:

OZ Communications furthermore does an excellent job at threatening bloggers with legal action without actually understanding what they are doing – our sister site TamsPalm has had a load of fun with these critters a few months ago.

Anyways, they are now part of Nokia – let’s hope that we won’t hear any more from them…
