The recently-leaked firmware version v30 is now officially available for the Nokia N95 8GB – customers wanting to upgrade can do so via their Windows-powered computer using the NSU tool.

As usual, Nokia did not release an official change log – as usual, symbian-freak and AllAboutSymbian have posted conflicting firmware change logs.

However, both of them agree on a few core specs:

  • Nokia Maps 2.0
  • N-Gage in ROM
  • Search 4.0
  • Share Online 3.0
  • Comes with Music capability
  • Flash Lite 3
  • Less power consumption

While v30 probably is the last firmware update that the N95 will ever see, I am not sure if Nokia won’t bring some further updates for the immensely popular N95-8. Nevertheless – the device has been very mature for quite some time…
