After having covered the 6650 to some extent, it’s time to look at the device’s current sales situation. In case anyone of you missed one of our reports, they can be found below:

Our clerk readily shared some data with my readers – read on for a few insights into the Austrian phone market and the 6650’s target demographics:

How does the device sell
Mediocre at best. It definitely isn’t a blockbuster, but I can’t say that it tanks either.

Why?
First of all: its a design thing. The design of the 6650 isn’t necessarily bad…but it doesn’t hit the taste of the majority nowadays?

Why is that so? The RAZR V3 was a smash hit…
Blame Sony Ericsson. I have been loyal to the brand for the last five years(like many Austrians)..and have to say that every single flip or slide phone from the manufacturer was fu**ed up beyond repair. I had one breakdown every 6mo…and customers had enough after some time.

Which version of S60 does it run?
Actually…nobody ever asked me this before. This isn’t intended for customers like you and your readers…this is to be considered a feature phone rather than a smartphone…

with this, we end our coverage of the 6650 for now. Stay tuned for further info as we hear more!
