Samsung’s SGH-810 has won the prestigeous EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) award. It can now call itself European Photo Phone 2008-2009.

The reason for the high rating was the excellent quality which was stated to be similar to the output of high-end cameras used just a few years ago.

While I personally don’t see much of a reason for this award (no XENON flash), it nevertheless is an extra bit of free PR that could entice Samsung to deploy the phone in masses…
