T-Mobile’s employees almost managed to end the reviews after my first encounter…but I managed to find a talkative clerk by running around town a bit. I was eager to see if I had a successor for my aging Nokia N71. Can the box stack up - read on to find out more…
The 6650 is a bit boxier but much slimmer than the N71 - people currently owning an N71 will be happy about the smaller size:

The inner screen of the 6650 is about as big as the one found on the N71. However, the keys are completely different - while the N71’s keys were domed, the 6650’s are flat. The 6650’s keys generally felt worse…and the device also misses a few keys which were phased out in FP2:

Nokia placed the standard power and data ports at the bottom of the machine. Nokia’s now typical plastic covers are used to protect them from lint and dust

Finally, the machine’s MicroSD slot can be found at the top right side:

In the end, the 6650 feels cheap…professional high-quality devices look and feel different. The keys are extremely difficult to use for extended periods of time - whichh effectively eliminates the device’s usability. The lack of a headphone jack is the final straw that laid the camel flat…I’m sticking to my N71.
However, the device’s software contained a few interesting surprises - tune in soon to find out more!
