Jan Slodicka just sent an email informing me that his excellent Resco Photo Viewer has been updated. Version 4.51 adds the following improvements:
- Devices without the pencil (shift) key (e.g. N6120 Classic):
Long press of the ‘#’ key is interpreted as shift - Zooming in the preview mode loads full sized image if needed
- Preview mode enables image panning (use shift+arrows)
- Play music in the slideshow
- Store your own slideshows for later use
- Remembers last highlighted image/folder
- Added option for keeping backlight on when viewing images
- Improved Exif information dialog
- Support for EXIF rotation
- Usage of the GPS information stored in Exif:
Menu allows you to launch Google Maps in the web browser showing the related location.
(You need a camera producing GPS information) - Various bug fixes
A beta of V4.51 can be downloaded from Resco’s web site. I can do little except recommend all of you to check out the program - it beats Nokia’s image gallery in all aspects…
