TamsS60 - the S60 Blog

The next version of Nokia’s S60 operating system(S60v3 FP2, short for Feature Pack 2) will bring along a variety of UI changes that should “improve” the look and feel of S60-powered devices.

Nokia’s N78 is said to be the first device that will ship with the new operating system - and the folks at iGadgetLife managed to get their hands onto such a box and made a small video outlining the UI changes.

As always: don’t get your hopes up for an update. It would be possible(according to an insider at Nokia’s), but I am very doubtful that any current S60v3FP1 device will receive an update…

The FCC has done it again - this time, they leaked information on Sony Ericssons upcoming UIQ handset that was circling the rumor mills for quite some time under the designation BeiBei.

Anyways, the BeiBei is for real - and it will be sold as G702.
